Overall, this is a positive review, since I really like the Sidekick. TL DR: I would buy the Sidekick again and recommend it to others, but I also would recommend that buyers carry a tube of super glue when they travel in case the tip of the stylus breaks off. So if you have sensitive gums, or sensitive teeth, and you travel or you need a portable water flosser that's more compact than the original counterpart, THIS IS THE ONE. At 10 PMI, it absolutely matches the lowest pressure setting on the bigger Waterpik. Trust me I tried a few before coming across this one. or get unfriendly looks.Īll that said, it's got 5 pressure settings and the lowest setting truly is the LOWEST and the SOFTEST pressure setting I have ever tried. So if you use it in a public restroom, it might be worth running few short sprays first to not make people jump out of their toilet seats. But I suppose this makes sense because they have to fit so many parts into such a compact space to make it work. Next, know that this device is MUCH heavier the original Waterpik (the big one). put a paper towel between the countertop and the white piece. Of course, that white piece will catch whatever bacteria is on the sink countertop that it just rested on because it needs to be plugged when you use it. Putting it inside is the only way everything will fit into the travel bag it comes with. For those who intend to travel with this device, the white piece goes inside the water container after you are done using.
